The hotel

The Dammtorpalais with its striking gabled facade, built around the turn of the century, is considered a typical patrician building of Hamburg, therefore being classified as a historical monument. In the heart of Hamburg and still a quiet location in a sought after area of Rotherbaum. Only a few minutes by foot and you reach downtown Jungfernstieg, the meanwhile well-known shopping arcades and the Hamburg Opera House. Virtually straight across you find the Congress Center and the ICE-Railway Station Hamburg-Dammtor . One of the lakes - the Aussenalster - is so close that it inevidably invites to a leisurly walk or to a boat ride. Being very near the University as well as to Poeseldorf, an in-area for young and old, you have endless opportunities to shop, dine, enjoy a drink or snack or just to relax.
We serve a generous breakfast in our comfortable breakfast rooms.
